I’d like to say a special thankyou to the awsome ladies that take the time to share a dance with me. I really appreciate it. Sorry about all those lumps on the head, dislocated elbows and sore toes.
You all make it possible for me to do something I really love.
The same goes for the men and occasional woman I dance with, thanks to you all for the fun and laughter and the opportunity to met and make new friends along the way.
Thanks to you Mike for all the hours you put in with me and the frustration I know I put you through. lol you have given me the opportunity to broaden my horizons and do something that I have been passionate about for years and not able to do for one reason or another. Thanks also for our first few sessions that gave me enough knowledge and courage to be able to have fun and dance with my son. That is very special…this year has been a year of personal growth and challenges for me and you have certainly been a huge part of that growth and in gaining confidence to do something I wouldn’t have thought possible. I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
It’s all good
I had the most amazing dance Sunday night. I braved it and asked a guy to dance with me, a guy that I had watched do several amazing performances at Congress, who is such an accomplished dancer, polished, professional and amazing to watch. He accepted my invitation to dance, it didn’t matter that I didn’t dance as well as he did. His lead was light and he took me through moves I hadn’t done before, he didn’t push me to my limits or force me to do things I wasn’t capable of. He danced with me and me alone for the time we were on the floor. His eyes didn’t wander for the next partner, wish this dance was over, but danced with me, looked after me, it was incrediable. He made me feel like I had been dancing for years and that I was far better than I was. So thank you to the tall good looking guy that made me feel so special.
